Milk-It Does A Body Harm

Your entire life, you've probably been told to drink your milk. You've been told that milk is good for you, natural, and that you need it for strong bones. But is this true?
You'd be surprised to know that most human beings on the planet do not drink milk. Cow's milk which is most popular in the United States is intended for baby cows, not humans. Besides supporting cruelty to animals (which is a concern of mine) drinking milk is actually harmful to humans.
To be safe, you may consider eliminating milk and dairy from your diet altogether. This may sound odd to those who were taught that milk is part of the basic food groups, but I'm going to give you reasons that may change your mind.

What is milk?
Milk is a maternal lactating secretion, a short term nutrient for new-borns.
The mother of any mammal will produce milk for her young, but only for a short while. The animal is soon introduced to a proper diet according to the species.
So what are the risks when humans fail to follow the pattern of nature and drink milk past infancy?
Children and babies
There are an abundance of articles that have pinpointed that allergies to dairy products begin in a newborn's small intestine as a result of bottle feeding (formula or cows milk) Babies fed bottle milk suffer more pneumonia, middle-ear infections, respiratory infections, bacterial meningitis, neo-natal septicemia, thrush, and viral illnesses, including polio and herpes simplex.
Adults
Drinking milk later in life actually contributes to calcium loss.Low fat milk products have been shown to make a greater contribution to osteoporosis, kidney problems, and certain forms of cancers. In addition, dairy products are the leading culprit in food allergies. Dairy products cause a large range of problems within the small intestines by interfering with intestinal permeability, thereby allowing large fragments of proteins to enter into the blood stream. This is also known as "leaky gut syndrome". This can lead to a host of physical problems, including irritable bowel syndrome, malabsorption of nutrients, obesity and mineral and amino acid deficiencies.

There are so many reasons to eliminate milk from your diet. I could write a book about it. But instead I will refer everyone to a wonderful website. It's a great starting place and can explain the milk controversy much better than I can. Its http://www.milksucks.com/

Some of my information was obtained through Dr. Kradjians letter http://www.notmilk.com/kradjian.html
